Delhi Zoo, also known as the National Zoological Park is one of the popular Tourist Destinations in New Delhi. Built in 1957, covering around 240 acres of area, it is the one such place where you can spot a variety of animals and birds.

Rhinoceros, Black Buck, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, White Tiger of Rewa, Indian Gazelle, Zebra, Chimpanzee, Grey Kangaroos, Spider Monkey, Jaguars and African Antelopes are to name a few animals that you can watch out at the Delhi Zoo. Delhi Zoo is also a home to various migratory creatures like Fallow Deer, Peafowl, Emu, Macaque, Banteng, Hog Deer and so on. In the zoo you will see more than 200 varieties of trees.
