With the help of a pizzaiolo, you will be able to follow all the steps, from making the dough to baking it in a wood-fired oven. Not only will you learn how to make a Neapolitan pizza, but you will also discover some of its secrets: which flour to use, which type of yeast, how long to leave the dough to rest, how to spread it, which tomato to use, when to add the oil, and so on. 

The interesting history of this unique dish is also described: in the late 1800s, Raffaele Esposito was asked to make a pizza for the visit of King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Italy. During this tasting, Queen Margherita liked the pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to represent the national colours of Italy, as on the Italian flag.
