Samuel De Champlain Bridge: Special Illumination to Celebrate the Closing of the Winter Paralympic

ree

The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be lit in the colours of the Canadian flag from sunset to 8 p.m. this evening to mark the closing of the 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.

This special illumination is in celebration of the athletes, coaches, and other members of the Canadian Paralympic Team who participated in the winter games. It is a symbol of our pride in their success and their dedication to representing our country.

Note: After 8 p.m., the architectural lighting will return to the blue-green illumination that reduces the risk of disorientation in birds during their migratory period.
