Embark on an early morning tour of the Tower of London, one of London's oldest monuments. Skip the lines and witness the Crown Jewels before the crowds arrive. Discover the history of the Tower, where English queens were executed, and be among the lucky few to meet a Yeomen Warder, or Beefeater, to learn about their traditions. Explore centuries of British history, including the trial of Guy Fawkes, and marvel at royal artifacts like orbs, swords, crowns, and scepters. After the official tour, stay at the Tower to explore at your leisure for as long as you like!
Tour the Tower of London with a Yeoman Warder – better known as a Beefeater. This is a private, exclusive experience not available to anyone else.
Enjoy unlimited free time to explore the Tower of London on your own after the tour.
Your expert, English-speaking guide will ensure you’ll be awed by the Crown Jewels.
Experience the infamous Tower of London on this exciting tour with exclusive access to one of the sites’ renown Beefeater guards. Beefeater tours are extremely popular and normally visitors must wait in long lines to share their tour with hundreds of other people.
Used as both a Palace and a prison, this landmark is most well-known as the home of the Crown Jewels and execution site of three Queens of England.
You will be led by a City Wonders representative inside to meet one of the Tower’s Yeoman Warders, more commonly known as Beefeaters. This Beefeater will explain the story and traditions of this elite guard and will be available to take pictures and answer questions.
After the tour, you are free to stay in the Tower to explore its’ vast history. Visit the Tower Green to see the spot where Henry the VIII, the infamous Tudor King, beheaded two of his wives: Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard. You can also explore the famous White Tower, a medieval keep, where the ‘Princes in the Tower’ were held and allegedly murdered by their Uncle Richard III so he could usurp the English throne.
Because our tour begins early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to be among the first visitors to the Jewel House to see the spectacular Crown Jewels, which have been held here for the last 600 years.
