Marvel at the spectacular Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive, with the Sistine Chapel First Entry Experience, giving you access sooner than all other tour groups and the general public. Meeting early in the morning, this first entry experience allows you to skip the long lines already forming outside the Vatican Museums and enter before the doors officially open.

 What could be more inspiring than seeing Michelangelo’s renowned ceiling first-hand in all its glory without all the jostling crowds.

 Away from the bustling crowds you will be accompanied into the Sistine Chapel where you can quietly contemplate the grandeur of this incredible place. After your breathtaking experience inside the Sistine Chapel your expert guide will lead you back through the maze of this incredible complex to the beginning of the Vatican Museums. Your guide will introduce you to the most important sides of the museum.

 With only 12 people or less per group and a maximum of two groups running per day, your Sistine Chapel experience will be as intimate as it should be.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or mobility impairments on our tours. We are also unable to accommodate pushchairs or strollers on our Tours. 
 Entrance into the Vatican requires a strict dress code.  Please wear clothing that conceals the shoulders, legs and arms when visiting religious sites. 
 The Vatican only permits very small bags, and specifically prohibits large bags, tripods, umbrellas, and backpacks.  Any such items must be checked into the free luggage storage area which may result in your having to leave the tour early to retrieve them at the entrance.  Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your Tour.

 On Wednesdays, during the papal audience the basilica remains closed. Reopening at 1pm.
