Visiting wine cellars in Puglia means to discover the hospitality and beauty of our territory. From the “Arco della Porta”, formerly the only access to the village,we enter the enchanting town, enriched by the thirteenth-century Matrice Church dedicated to the “Assunta”vergin Mary, and by the balconies overlooking the sea.
The jagged coastline gives rise to the Marine Caves including the well-known Grotta Palazzese and the high cliff of Lama Monachile. At the end of the walk, a moment of pleasure awaits you: enjoy an exceptional homemade ice cream or try the popular “Caffè Speciale”, an excellent typical coffee invented in Polignano.
