Once in Gijón, we will take a guided walking tour to explore its most authentic corners, starting our journey at Plaza del Parchís, surrounded by residential buildings and green spaces, known as a gathering spot for locals.
 
From there, we will head to the stunning San Lorenzo Beach and see how it blends with the Cantabrian Sea. We will enjoy a pleasant stroll along the famous Gijón Wall, a wide avenue that connects the two ends of the city, full of curiosities we’ll share with you.
 
Next, we will explore the charming neighborhood of Cimadevilla, a place that exudes the true essence of Gijón. Here, maritime air mixes with Roman remnants, creating a unique atmosphere in the oldest streets of the city. In Cimadevilla, we will take a short break for a drink before continuing our walk toward the dock, where we will stop to admire the nautical surroundings, as well as the majestic Revillagigedo Palace.
 
This impressive 18th-century palace hides a secret: although its two towers appear to be identical, one is 300 years older than the other. Just opposite, you’ll be amazed by the statue of a knight with a cross. Did you know that this represents Don Pelayo, the first Asturian king and a beloved hero in Gijón?
 
We will end our tour at the elegant Plaza Mayor, the perfect place to reflect on the wonders we’ve discovered in these two hours full of history and charm. After the visit, you will have some free time to enjoy Gijón at your leisure.
 
Once we resume our return journey, we will take a scenic route with a brief stop to visit the Laboral City of Culture, one of the city’s most iconic places.
