Take to the seas for a tranquil ferry journey between Benalmadena Costa and Fuengirola aboard the Starship Dos.

This pleasant trip takes about one hour each way, and provides great views of some of the Costa del Sol’s most renowned resorts. You will also be able to appreciate the true scale of the Sierra de Mijas, which rises majestically behind the coast. And if you’re lucky, there might even be the odd dolphin sighting along the way. 

Departure points for the Starfish Dos are Puerto Marina in Benalmadena Costa and Fuengirola harbour. There are four sailings daily during high season from either port and you are able to pick the return leg of your choice.  Tuesdays and Sundays are particularly in demand as there is a popular street market in Fuengirola.

From the vantage point of the Starfish Dos, you will pass by the speedboats and luxury yachts of Puerto Marina as well as the family resorts of Sunset Beach, Torrequebrada, Playa Bonita, Torremuelle, Carvajal, Torreblanca and Los Boliches among others. Local tourist attractions such as the Benalmadena cable car and Bil Bil Castle can also be observed from the sea.

The Starfish Dos can accommodate more than 140 passengers and has a bar, where there is a large TV showing a multimedia presentation. During the summer months, you are advised to bring a cap, sunglasses, sun cream, bathing suits and beach towels. On some trips, passengers have the option of swimming in the open sea.
