Departing Munich at 10am, you start your day with a visit to Zugspitze. This day trip takes you through directly into the foothills of the Alps and its green valleys. Passing the picturesque houses of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the bus climbs with you already the first altitude meters to the valley station of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany with 9,788 feet (2,962 meters).
With the new cable car, we will reach the mountain peak in a few minutes. After you have enjoyed the exhilarating view of over 400 peaks in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. There's still time to treat yourself to a delicious lunch at the restaurant! You can even find vegetarian or halal meals, too (lunch is not included).
Get ready for some amazing summer fun! Enjoy a free bobsleigh ride or take a hike on the incredible eternal ice. The descent takes place with the historic Cogwheel train.
