After a delicious meal, it’s on to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is China's largest temple and altar complex, an extraordinary example of religious architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Your final destination has been the retreat of emperors for 800 years, the Summer Palace. One of Beijing’s finest parks surrounds the palace, and you explore the grounds, the temples and the world's longest art gallery.
