Join us on a guided Koolau waterfall hike on private property as we explore lush tropical vegetation of Hawaii’s paradise, tranquil streams, a picturesque pool and a secluded 35 ft waterfall with ocean views of windward Oahu.

With average year-round temperatures of 80 degree (cooler in the rainforest), refreshing trade winds and two volcanic mountain ranges on this Hawaiian island, Oahu is a hiker’s paradise. Given the popularity of hiking, and since most all other hiking companies feature public trails and multiple groups, the secluded personality of the rainforest is often compromised. Our rainforest adventure is more than a hike; it is a journey to the old Hawai’i. This is a mild to moderate hike over dirt trail with rocks and roots. In the rainforest, expect rain and forest. Trail can be muddy and slippery when wet. Hawaiian waterfalls will vary in water output depending on many factors, including recent rainfall. Hiking time is approximately 1.5 hours.

This easy 5-mile tropical ride coasts downhill on a paved road nestled in the lush Puu Ohia rainforest.
