For all nature lovers and those who enjoy the beauty and quietness of an uninhabited Island: Contoy Island a natural protected area since 1961 and, due to its biodiversity, a National Park since 1998.

As you arrive at the private marina located at the Punta Sam Ferry terminal for a fast check; coffee and bread included. At 9:45 am, after check-in, we will board the boat and head into Ixlache Reef which is located right in front of Contoy Island and it’s a part of Contoy’s National Park, or Meco Reef, depending on weather conditions. Snorkeling gear is included, and the use of a Life vest is mandatory, you will be accompanied by a bilingual guide. This activity will take 45 minutes.

Once the snorkeling is over, we will head to Isla Contoy. In the event of bad weather, we will do the snorkel activity right in the Island inlet or at El Meco Reef for security reasons. Once we disembark in Contoy, you will be able to enjoy its white sand beaches and the virgin and crystal-clear waters where we can find colorful fish rays and birds flying. You can also do some sightseeing on foot, visit the museum and observatory on your own, and learn about the flora and fauna species of the Island. If you want, you can go to the bird’s lagoon, or you can choose to relax on the beautiful beach if you prefer not to go.

Here we will have a delicious lunch, surrounded by the beautiful nature that characterizes this amazing Island of the Mexican Caribbean.

After leaving Isla Contoy, we will head to Isla Mujeres, and depending on weather conditions we’ll be visiting Downtown for shopping or Playa Norte which is one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

• Hotel pick-up between 7 am and 8 am and departure to the Marina
• Check-in at our Marina in Punta Sam at 9:15 am
• Coffee and bread at 9:25 am
• Departure to Contoy at 9:45 am
• Stop at the Ixlache Reef for snorkeling at 10:45 am
• Arriving at Isla Contoy at 12 pm
• Free time from 12:50 pm
• Lunchtime at 1:30 pm
• Free time at the beach at 2:15 pm
• Departing to Isla Mujeres at 3pm
• Arriving at Isla Mujeres Downtown or North Beach (depending of weather conditions) at 4:15 pm
• Departing to Riviera Maya/Playa del Carmen with entertainment on board at 5:20 pm
