This watching experience starts early in the morning. A comfortable and modern vehicle will pick you up before sunrise from your hotel in Cappadocia. You will be driven towards the hot air balloons take off point. It is important to note that pick up time changes according to each season.

Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s most important locations due to its long history. However, what make the city truly spectacular are the multiple valleys that feature imposing fairy chimneys and interesting rock formations. These valleys are able to capture visitors’ attention due to their natural beauty, especially during sun rise and sun set. Hot air balloon rides is one of the most common activities to do while in Cappadocia. The flight, allows participants to enjoy breath taking views over these valleys and experience unforgettable moments.

When you arrive at the observation point, you will be able to observe the professional pilots preparing the hot air balloons for the flight. The pilot will be filling the balloon with hot air and give important information to the participants about the flight. This will be a great opportunity to snap some photos of the preparations before the flight. It is important to mention that, the observation point is subject to the weather conditions and to the direction of the wind.

Then, the most interesting part of this experience follows. Hot air balloons will start to take off and flight over the valley. By the time they reach their maximum altitude, get ready for a spectacular effect. As the sun starts to rise, the valleys will be full of light and the rock formations take a red colour. The colourful hot air balloons just above the valley will complete this unique setting. This will be the best timing for some beautiful photos and for this reason you will be transferred to a second location in order to enjoy this from different angles.

 When the sun is up and the hot air balloons land, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cappadocia.
