Day 1| Rome, Assisi, Siena and Florence 
We depart from Rome at 7.15am and start our adventure, departing from your hotel in a deluxe coach and proceed on to Assisi. Here we explore this charming town at your own leisure, visit the Basilica of St. Francis to see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. You also get some free time for lunch (not included). Next we head to Siena, where you can discover this world-renowned breathtaking site, famous for the Palio horse race around the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo. Finally, we arrive in Florence for the night, check in at your hotel for a delicious dinner and a restful night.

Day 2| Florence 
After a delightful breakfast, dive into the Renaissance splendour of Florence, with guided visits through the city centre, passing along Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo), the Campanile, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Enjoy a meal in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce (included).
Optional Trip to Pisa: Spend the afternoon exploring Florence on your own or opt for a trip to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and other historic sites.

Day 3| Florence, Bologna and Mestre 
Visit the elegant city centre of Bologna, walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, and admire the Basilica of San Petronio. You will also get to enjoy some street food, a nice light lunch experience! We then make our way to Mestre, so you can check in to your hotel.

Day 4| Venice 
Take a water taxi to Piazza San Marco and enjoy a walking tour along the most characteristic sites in the city, like the Bridge of Sighs, or Palazzo dei Dogi. Enjoy a Spritz or prosecco and conclude the tour with a drink and a taste of Cicchetti, Venetian tapas (included), in the company of your tour leader. You will have the afternoon free to roam the canals of Venice at your leisure, before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 5| Venice, Montepulciano (Tuscany's Wine Region) and Rome 
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Venice and travel to Montepulciano, a Tuscan town rich in history and art, and renowned for its “nobile” wine. Enjoy a panoramic view and your included lunch at a typical restaurant, plus some free time for wine tastings and shopping before returning to Rome.
