This package is ideal to visit the places you should not miss in Veracruz.

We begin with a tour of the Veracruz Aquarium, where you can admire the representative fauna of the state. In this tour you will see 10 exhibition halls where you can see thousands of specimens that will captivate your senses and make your visit an incredible experience.

At noon, we will visit the fortress of San Juan de Ulúa, which was built by orders of Hernán Cortés, as it protected Veracruz from pirate and corsair attacks of the time. On the way to the fortress, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of some of the monuments of the historic center and part of the customs facilities.

Upon your arrival to San Juan de Ulua, an expert guide will be waiting for you to start the tour. You will walk through the entire area with the guide, visiting the different prison cells that existed and the old presidential house, all this while the guide tells you stories and local legends such asLa Mulata de Cordoba and Chucho el Roto.

After finishing the tour with the guide, you will be given time to take pictures and discover the area freely. Each wall of this fortress tells a story, which you can capture in a photograph to carry this visit in your memory.

A guide will tell you all about the history and legends of the oldest prison in Mexico.

At the end of this visit, we will transfer to Mandinga, where we will enjoy a boat ride through the mangrove area. 
You will observe the behavior of some birds in the different types of vegetation and the environment surrounding you with the mangroves, making the ride become a moment of reflection.

The boat advances slowly as it enters this ecosystem. Don't forget to close your eyes while the breeze caresses your skin and you take a deep breath to keep this moment forever.

There is a great variety of restaurants installed in the Mandinga Riviera, it is difficult to choose one since they all offer delicious fish and seafood (not included).

To finish the tour, we will tour the historic center of Veracruz aboard a traditional tram, from where we will be able to observe the most important and beautiful places of the city.
