Barcelona was the place where everything began, the place where I could see how far I could reach”, Picasso once said. He was not born in Barcelona but the time he spent in the city, 9 years of his early adult life, would leave a strong trace in his painting and in his heart.

Join us to know why, because the Barcelona that seduced him 100 years ago is still present in those lanes and small squares of the Old Town. We will get on the bikes and stroll around the alleys of the Gothic and Born quarters to follow in his footsteps. Then, we will pass the exotic 19th-century Park de la Ciutadella from where we will bike straight to Barceloneta beach. There, we will travel back in time to experience an unknown side of this vibrant city.

On a bike lane beneath palm trees next to the beach, we will cross the Old Port back to the Old Town. While riding you will get to know the modern Barcelona with its impressive changes but feel at the same time the city Picasso used to know.

The tour will conclude at an incomparable setting, the Art nouveau bistro Els 4 gats, where he used to gather with his bohemian friends and organized his first exhibition. This will be the perfect scenario to have fun as he used to drinking Spanish wines paired with a variety of selected tapas.
