We start our tour in a south-westerly direction, visiting the artistic Puerto de Mogán, a small fishing village converted into one of the most picturesque and beautiful tourist centres of Gran Canaria. The village is known for its multicoloured bougainvillaeas, colonial architecture and narrow canals that have brought it the nickname of “Little Venice”.

Our excursion continues through volcanic landscapes and mountains of a thousand colours until we reach the village of San Nicolas, the centre of tomato cultivation in Gran Canaria with its seas of greenhouses where countless varieties of tomatoes and the tastiest tropical fruits of the island are produced.

The west coast and its beautiful cliffs bring us to Puerto de Las Nieves in Agaete where we will see the remains of the old “Dedo de Dios”. In Puerto de Las Nieves you can have lunch in a typical fisherman’s restaurant at a more than reasonable price*.

Our excursion will take you along the north coast passing through one of the ancient kingdoms of the ancient inhabitants of Gran Canaria, the town of Gádar. The tour will continue to Guía, known for its wonderful artisan cheeses.

We continue to the north and arrive in Arucas (a city known for its banana plantations and cradle of Rum in the Canary Islands). Already in “Las Palmas” we make a stop where you can stroll along the famous beach of “Las Canteras” and photograph the Auditorium “Alfredo Kraus” or if you prefer you can go shopping in one of the largest shopping centres on the island “Las Arenas”.

After an unforgettable day, we return south along the east coast of Gran Canaria, but not before seeing the famous Avenida Maritima with its beautiful and slender palm trees, an avenue that has become the main artery of the city of Las Palmas.
