Our excursion offers you to discover the great green heart of Gran Canaria, an island called “a miniature continent”, because of the tremendous contrast of its habitat and landscapes. The northern midlands never cease to amaze you, green meadows, cultivated areas, forests, natural parks, mountains, breathtaking viewpoints and hidden villages.

 Our full-day island tour presents a packed itinerary visiting the towns of Telde, San Bartolomé and Firgas; enjoy lunch (not included) in Valleseco and admire places like the Cruz de Tejeda and Roque Nublo.

Itinerary
 Passing through and admiring extensive fields of almond trees and different crops, we will reach the village of Telde where we can visit the Church of San Gregorio, as well as stroll through its modern streets but at the same time with a very interesting past.

 The next stop will be in the charming village of Arucas, with its magnificent 15th-century Neo-Gothic church, one of the enclaves in the heart of the island of Gran Canaria. We will then stop in the village of Firgas, known as the “balcony of the Atlantic” for its fantastic panoramic views. We will also enjoy its beautiful waterfalls, located in the middle of the old town, and the pedestrian area of the Paseo de las Islas Canarias.

 Once on the summits, we stop at a restaurant in the Valleseco area for lunch (optional, not included in the price). After lunch, we continue the route through protected natural areas and mountains with incredible views. We will pass the viewpoint of Cruz de Tejeda, and stop at the Roque Nublo, a symbol of Gran Canaria, with magnificent views (weather permitting) of the Teide, the highest mountain in Spain located on the island of Tenerife.

 To finish the route, we will go down through San Bartolomé de Tirajana with its impressive views of Santa Lucía and return to the hotel.
