Interactive Aquarium Cancun - Admission

The Interactive Aquarium of Cancun has more than 140 species on display, enjoy with your family the magical experience of the aquatic world. Thanks to aquariums people can appreciate the natural world that surrounds them. Visitors can observe fish characteristics by understanding how an ecosystem works and fostering a sense of belonging through direct contact with certain organisms.

• Area of aquariums
The experience in Cancun Interactive Aquarium begins with the observation of our community of fish, both fresh and marine. The fishery area has 1,195 specimens of approximately 140 different species. Here are some of them: (Hippocampus ingens), Globefish (Diodon hystrix), Spotted Brunette (Gymnothorax moringa), Perico Peak (Cichlasoma sp.), Desjardini Surgeon (Zebrasoma desjardinii), Pepper Surgeon (Prionurus Puntactus ), African Surgeon (Acanthurus nigricans), Angel Majestic Adult (Pomacanthus navarchus), Angel Emperor (Pomacanthus imperator), Angel Passer or Royal (Holacanthus passer).

• Contact Area
The contact area is one of the most interesting in the Cancun Interactive Aquarium because you can touch and learn a lot about species such as rays, echinoderms such as starfish, sea cucumbers, and sea urchins.

• iPad Zone
In this area, you will find fun didactic applications through which, in addition to playing, you will learn about the species and the various problems they face. Interact and learn!

We promote environmental protection through marine documentaries. Through documentary videos, this space is intended to inform our visitors about the science of oceans and marine ecosystems, the variety of organisms that inhabit this fascinating place, as well as the changes and threats facing this environment today. Also, you will have the opportunity to know the work team and the practices that we develop in the Cancun Interactive Aquarium for the care and well-being of our dolphin population.
