Travel to two vastly different worlds at the ultra-futuristic City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. L'Hemisfèric is a visually stunning projection hall that looks like an eye on the outside and another universe on the inside, while l'Oceanogràfic is Europe’s largest marine park and home to thousands of creatures of the sea. These two architectural masterpieces have revitalised the dried-up riverbed that meanders through the heart of Valencia.

L'Hemisfèric’s projection hall has three separate systems projecting onto a 900m2 curved screen suspended above more than 300 people. There’s an IMAX dome, a 3D digital screen and digital full dome projections often of an astronomical nature. Lie back and be transported to another dimension. All these dramatic features have earned nicknames such as the Eye of Knowledge and the Planetarium.

 At L'Oceanogràfic explore all the world’s major seas and oceans, with each building dedicated to a different maritime environment. Marvel at the majesty of the Mediterranean. Wander through the wild Wetlands. Travel through the Temperate and Tropical Seas. Admire the awesome Antarctic and Arctic Oceans. Revel in the Red Sea and discover the delights of the Dolphinarium. There are more than 45,000 creatures from 500 species, including beluga whales, jellyfish, penguins, sea lions, seals, sharks, rays, starfish, walruses and many, many more.

 During the summer, there are special night-time shows from 8pm to midnight, where you can take in the magical atmosphere in the company of the friendly and gentle dolphins.

 April, May, June, October and November: from 10 until 6pm or 8pm.
 July: from 10am until 8pm or 12am.
 August: from 10am until 12am.
 September: from 10am until 6pm, 8pm or 12am.
 December: from 10am or 12pm to 4pm, 6pm or 8pm.

 • Please note that the time chosen at the time of the booking only applies to the visit to the Hemisfèric. Please make sure you choose the schedule that best suits your needs. The rest of the venues can be visited at any time during the opening hours.
 • Please be advised that tickets purchased for bookings from 1 January 2025 will not be sent within 24 to 48 hours of purchase. However, we would like to reassure you that tickets will be sent by email by mid-November of this year.
