Celestun is a port where the most exotic species of the Yucatecan geography coexist, such as the pink flamingo, which with its nesting, flight, and sound transforms the environment and makes a beautiful natural spectacle.
In addition, it is one of the main nesting and reproduction places for the pink flamingo, which in the months of December to February reaches a population of close to 23,000 thousand specimens.
We will board a boat where we will travel through the water channels that distinguish Celestun, where they are approximately 2.60 to 2.80 meters deep. Touring the canals aboard boats is a totally natural activity that is worth enjoying.
Once we have enjoyed the boat tour, we will go to the next natural attraction which will be a cenote called ojo de agua so we can take a dip.
Finally, we will enjoy the beach in Celestun, which is made up of fine white sand. At the back of the sandy bar there is an important lagoon system known as Ría, which forms a complex system of channels that connect with the sea.
