How does it work?
Simply take your voucher to any of the exchange points mentioned above and exchange it for your WelcomeCard.
- Validate the ticket before your first journey on the public transport system in Berlin. You can find ticket validation machines on tube and city railway platforms or in the buses and trams. You only need to validate your ticket once.
Afterwards, your Berlin WelcomeCard and public transport ticket is valid for the duration of the option you purchased (48 hrs, 72 hrs, etc).
- To benefit from the discounts on attractions and services, you must always show your validated ticket to each discount partner before using the discounted services. The discount is then applied directly at the attraction.
- 1 adult can travel with up to 3 children up to and including 14 years old on public transport for free. Children over the age of 15 need their own ticket.
